                    4/10/10
              Pipemaker:
                    Peter White
              Key:
                    D

              Staple Details:
Blank: .5" at wide end. .45" at narrow end
              Staple Length:
                    2 1/8"
              Head Material:
                    Arundo donax
              Head Width:
                    .45"
              Cane Tube Diameter:
                    .82"
              Overall Length:
3 3/8" The A on this chanter is extremely flat. The only way I could get most of the notes in tune is by adding cork to the back D hole and the B hole, and inserting a thick rush up to the A hole. Cardboard tube is added to the bell end to lower the bottom D.
I haven't figured out a way to make the bridle smooth: note the marks from the pliers. Maybe I need some plastic pliers?
